The Big Match is a charity football match held annually. Featuring a large cast of celebrities, ex-pros and members of the public. The Big Match raises money for The Brain Tumour Charity and Action for Children.
Starting in 2012 as a kick about on the Madejski pitch and raising £10,000, The Big Match has evolved in to a family day out with celebs, ex pros and much more!
Starting with the Kidz session which kicks off the day with the next generation of footballers learning new skills and play small sided matches, guided by professional coaches and some ex pros.
The main event sees the adults take over with a mixture of celebrities, ex professional players, and local players who have raised money for our two great charities.
Finally the day is capped off with our glitz and glamour extra time event. Previous years have seen Suzanne Shaw and Gareth Gates present an evening of entertainment to show great support and raise money for Action for Children and The Brain Tumour Charity.
